High-performance Electromagnetic Transient Simulation for New-type Power System Based on Cloud Computing

  • 摘要: 高性能电磁暂态仿真是新型电力系统安全运行的必备分析工具。受建模仿真能力、计算效率、扩展性等方面的限制,传统电磁暂态仿真工具难以适应新型电力系统的需求。为此,该文通过新型电力系统电磁暂态建模、高性能并行计算、开放性电磁暂态仿真平台构建等方面的创新,解决了现有电磁暂态仿真平台“大规模新型电力系统建模仿真难”、“仿真效率提升代价大”和“服务决策能力不足”3个技术难题,研发了面向新型电力系统的高性能电磁暂态云仿真平台,形成了共享、灵活的仿真体系。

     

    Abstract: High-performance electromagnetic transient (EMT) simulation is a necessary analysis tool for the safe operation of new-type power systems. Due to the limitation of modeling and simulation ability, computational efficiency, and scalability, traditional EMT simulation tools are difficult to adapt to the needs of new power systems. To this end, this paper solved the problems of considerable difficulty in modeling and simulating large-scale new-type power systems, high cost of improving simulation efficiency and poor ability to support decision-making of the existing EMT simulation platforms through the innovation of new-type power system EMT modeling, high-performance parallel computing and scalable EMT simulation platform construction. A cloud computing-based EMT simulation platform for new-type power system was developed, forming a shared and flexible simulation system.
