Abstract:
The typical direct torque control strategy for dual-three-phase permanent magnet synchronous machine is accompanied by large torque ripple and harmonic current. In order to solve such problems, first, a multi-level hysteresis controller is introduced into the proposed direct torque control strategy to reduce torque ripples. Second, this paper proposes a low switching frequency voltage vector synthesis scheme including 24 vector combinations, which can output various voltage levels in
α-
β frame according to the switching table. Meanwhile, the
z1-
z2 plane voltage can be linearly modulated based on the proportional resonant controller to realize the closed-loop harmonic current suppression. The experimental results show that, compared to typical strategies with the same switching frequency, the proposed direct torque control can possess lower current harmonic and torque ripple.
