Underground Space Supported Electric Energy Systems: Conceptions, Challenges, and Prospects

  • 摘要: 为应对日益严峻的气候变化问题,中国提出了碳达峰与碳中和的战略目标,为国家气候治理与能源低碳转型描绘了宏伟蓝图。碳源减排与碳汇增容是实现“双碳”目标的2个重要途径,但受到政策、空间、技术等因素制约,其低碳清洁潜力难以得到充分释放。地下空间作为一类具有广阔开发前景的国土空间资源,可为各类减排增汇措施提供稳定充足的空间支撑,对实现“双碳”目标具有重要意义。首先,该文基于地下空间的功能特性,揭示地下空间的减排增汇潜力;其次,提出地下空间支撑下的未来电力能源系统构想;最后,展望所提构想的未来研究方向和亟待解决的关键问题。

     

    Abstract: In order to cope with the increasingly severe climate change problem, China has put forward the strategic target of emission peak and carbon neutrality, which has drawn a grand blueprint for the national climate governance and energy low-carbon transformation. The reduction of carbon emission and increase of carbon sink are two important ways to achieve the "double carbon" target, which, however, are difficult to attain due to the restrictions of policy, space, technology and other factors. As a kind of territorial resource with broad development prospects, underground space can provide a stable and sufficient space support for the reduction of carbon emission and increase of carbon sink. First, the low-carbon potentials of underground space were revealed based on its functional characteristics. Then, the concept of underground-space-supported future electric energy system was proposed. Finally, the future research and the key problems to be solved were proposed.
