Abstract:
In order to suppress the continuous commutation failure in the inverter side LCC during the AC system failure recovery process, this paper firstly analyzed the entire failure recovery process with the help of the system steady state operating curve. Secondly, theoretical derivation proved that the system would not fail in commutation during the VDCOL operation phase during the fault recovery process. At the same time, the system had a higher risk of commutation failure during the current deviation control phase. Based on the above analysis, an extinction angle dynamic compensation control method considering the influence of DC current, commutation voltage amplitude and commutation voltage offset angle was proposed to suppress continuous commutation failure. Finally, the correctness of related mechanism analysis and suppression method was verified by the CIGRE standard model in PSCAD/EMTDC.
