Abstract:
In this work, two types of adsorbents were prepared from fly ash for CO
2 capture in flue gas. One is zeolite, which were obtained by hydrothermal synthesis method, such as A-type and X-type zeolite. And the other one is solid amine sorbent, whose support were prepared from fly ash. The amine was loaded on the support by using the impregnation method to obtain a solid amine sorbent. The adsorption of CO
2 by zeolite is physical adsorption. The CO
2 adsorption capacity of zeolites is 169~223 mg/g. The sorption of CO
2 by solid amine sorbent is between physical adsorption and chemical adsorption. The CO
2 adsorption of solid amine sorbent is 108-189 mg/g. The utilization of fly ash can not only alleviate the impact of fly ash on the environment, but also reduce carbon emissions, which is beneficial to the coordinated development of society and economy.
