Abstract: Study on the potential of demand response resources assists the demand response to shift peak load and consume new energy. This paper established demand response system dynamic analysis model considering the users’ long and medium term decision and general response behaviors from the perspective of different time dimensions. The model focused on the analysis on the different users’ project participation behaviors and the impact of incentive mechanism on demand response on different time scales. The case shows that incentive mechanism strongly affects the potential of demand response resources on the long and medium term and the performance of demand response. At the same time, users’ response behaviors have a significant difference at different time scales, as well as to distinction incentive signals.
