Calculation of 3D Whole Domain Thermal Fields of Squirrel-cage Induction Motors

  • 摘要: 笼型感应电动机额定负载运行时,电机转子温度较高,且热应力在各个方向的分布不均匀,这将直接影响到电机的使用寿命,并且是转子导条发生断裂故障的主要原因之一。该文以Y802-2型感应电机为研究对象,建立了样机三维温度场计算模型,基于有限元方法,对电机三维全域稳态温度场进行了仿真研究,计算结果的准确性通过与样机实测温度值的对比得到证实。研究发现,电机转子导条与端环的连接处的热流密度值较大,说明此位置极易发生断裂故障,这一结论与电机实际情况相符。

     

    Abstract: Under the rated load conditions,the rotor temperature is high and the thermal stress distribution in all directions is not even,which will affect directly the service life of the motor and is one of the main causes of the broken bars fault.This paper deals with 3-D temperature estimation for the squirrel-cage induction motor of Y802-2.The 3-D temperature model of the induction motor is established,and it employs finite-element method to analyze the thermal fields.The theoretical predictions are verified by direct comparison with experimental results.Research found that the heat flux located at the joint of the rotor bar and the end-ring is rather high,indicating that the position often fracture,which is consistent with the reality.
