Voltage Regulator With Controllable Phase and Amplitude

摘要: 介绍虚拟正交源(virtual quadrature source,VQS)概念,提出一种新颖的相位和幅值可控电压调节器(voltage regulator with controllable phase and amplitude,VRCPA)。其中单相VRCPA由Buck交流斩波器、三次谐波陷阱和Boost交流斩波器组成,相对于输入电压,其输出电压的相位和幅值均可分别连续调节。前级Buck交流斩波器和三次谐波陷阱用于调节输出电压的相位,后级Boost交流斩波器用于调节输出电压的幅值。在单相VRCPA基础上构成三相VRCPA,三相VRCPA无需三次谐波陷阱,电路结构简洁。VRCPA可被用于控制电网中的电能传输,具有潜在的应用价值,该文详细研究其电路工作原理。仿真和实验结果证明了VRCPA的可行性和理论分析的正确性Abstract: The concept of virtual quadrature source(VQS) was introduced and a novel voltage regulator with controllable phase and amplitude(VRCPA) was proposed.The single-phase VRCPA comprises of a Buck type AC chopper,a 3rd harmonic trap and a Boost type AC chopper.In relation to the input voltage,the phase and amplitude of the output voltage are regulated respectively.The Buck type AC chopper and the 3rd harmonic trap regulate the phase,and the Boost type AC chopper regulates the amplitude.Based on the single-phase VRCPA,the three-phase VRCPA was constructed and deduced.The 3rd harmonic trap could be canceled in the three-phase VRCPA,so it has a simple structure.The principle of VRCPA,which has potential applications to control power transmission,was analyzed in detail.Simulation and experimental results proved the feasibility of the VRCPA and the correctness of its theoretical analysis.
