Energy Storage Planning Constrained by Its Life

  • 摘要: 为防止规划结果过于乐观,建立寿命约束下的储能规划。储能寿命建立由放电深度决定,以等效全循环次数计算的数学模型。将储能选址定容与嵌入寿命模型的机组组合进行一体化优化求解。应对运行层面不确定性,模型建立为两阶段鲁棒优化模型。求解上,采用对偶理论结合列与约束生成分解算法,探讨其可行割与最优割的构建。解算方法应用于6节点系统,比较不考虑储能寿命与考虑储能寿命两种模式下系统的规划结果,并分析系统不确定性、储能单位成本等因素对储能规划的影响,及它们在固定规划方案中对储能寿命的影响。结果表明,受限于较高储能成本,以上因素较大影响储能规划策略,对储能循环寿命的影响较小。

     

    Abstract: Energy storage planning was established to consider its life of service and avoid overoptimistic planning results. The energy storage life was built on its depth of discharge and calculated by the number of equivalent discharge cycles. The storage planning jointly addressing siting and sizing embeds both unit commitment and the storage life model. Operational uncertainty impacts planning and storage life, therefore the planning employs a two-stage robust optimization. Finally, a column and constraint generation decomposition combined with dual theory was employed, for which the construction of both feasibility and optimality cuts was laid out. In a 6-node system, storage planning results of models with and without considering energy storage life were compared. Effects of factors like operational uncertainty and storage unit cost on the planning as well as the storage life in a fixed planning scenario were analyzed. Due to the high cost of storage, these factors have a greater impact on storage planning rather than the storage cycle life.
