A High-efficiency Multilevel Voltage-balancing DC-DC Converter

摘要: 传统多电平均压型DC-DC变换器(multilevel voltagebalancingDC-DCconverter,MVBDC)由于能量逐级传递而使得效率普遍偏低,从而限制其在大功率直流变换场合的应用,为此提出一种高效率多电平均压型DC-DC变换器(highefficiencymultilevelvoltage-balancingDC-DCconverter,H-MVBDC),即通过缩短能量传递路径来降低系统损耗。通过分析H-MVBDC拓扑结构和工作原理,研究其软开关特性,且对H-MVBDC和MVBDC在开关管电流电压、输出电压偏差和效率等方面进行对比,最后搭建仿真模型和实验平台对理论分析进行验证。仿真和实验结果表明,H-MVBDC在提高变换器效率的同时,亦能降低开关器件电流应力和输出电压偏差。Abstract: The traditional multilevel voltage-balancing DC-DC converters(MVBDC) have the common problem of low efficiency because of the multistage transferring power, which limits its high power application. Therefore, a highefficiency MVBDC(H-MVBDC) was proposed in this paper, which helps shorten energy transfer path and reduce power loss. Based on the analysis of topology, principle and soft-switching characteristics of H-MVBDC, the comparisons of the switch currents, switch voltages, output voltage error and efficiency between H-MVBDC and MVBDC were discussed in this paper detailedly. Finally, the simulation model and the experimental platform were built to verify the theoretical analysis. All the results show that H-MVBDC improves the efficiency, and decrease the current stress of switches and the output voltage error effectively.
