Abstract:
To realize the second-use of retired batteries, the key technology is sorting. The paper proposed a consistency sorting method for retired battery modules based on voltage curves. Firstly, taking the Rint equivalent circuit model, thermal model, Coulomb efficiency model, capacity decay model and internal resistance growth model into account, a cell model was built. And then, an approach to tokening the consistency of influence factors on voltage curves based on transformation matrix was provided. In addition, for the above mentioned cell model and the proposed characterization method, a four-cell series module model was built with matlab/simulink, and the characteristics of the token parameters of different factors on the voltage curves were analyzed. Finally, based on the results of simulation, considering the different weight of influence factors on battery module consistency, a consistency sorting method for retired battery modules was presented, which is verified by the experiment. The result shows that the proposed sorting method can achieve the consistency sorting of retired battery modules effectively.
