Bucking-clamping DC Circuit Breaker Suitable for HVDC Grid

摘要: 直流故障的清除是目前直流电网研究的关键性问题。基于现有部分文献提出的故障回路接入电容的方法,该文提出一种降压钳位式直流断路器,利用预充电电容接入故障回路后的钳位和限流能力清除故障。分析所提方案的拓扑和原理,对方案进行重合闸和后备保护等配套设计,利用PSCAD/EMTDC仿真和硬件实验验证该文方案,并进行详细的经济性分析。相比其他方案,该方案最大的优势在于实现了故障隔离和故障耗能解耦,先快速隔离之后缓慢耗能。方案在快速性能上有着一定的优势,同时不需要使用避雷器,具备一定的工程价值。Abstract: The clearance of DC faults is a key issue in DC power grids. Basing on the method of capacitance inserting into fault circuit mentioned in some literatures, a bucking-clamping DC circuit breaker was proposed which clears faults by the clamping and limiting function of pre-charge capacitance inserted into fault circuit. The topology and principle of the scheme were analyzed and designed such as reclosing and backup protection were made. The feasibility of the proposed scheme was verified by PSCAD/EMTDC simulation and hardware experiments, and detailed economic analysis was made as well. Compared with other schemes, the main advantage of this scheme is to achieve decoupling of fault isolation and energy consumption, first fast isolation and then slow consumption. The scheme has certain advantages in rapidity, and needs no lightning arresters, so it has certain engineering value.
