Small Signal Modeling of Two-terminal MMC-HVDC Based on AVM Model

  • 摘要: 在建立模块化多电平换流器型高压直流输电(modular multilevel converter based high-voltage DC,MMC-HVDC)输电系统的小信号模型时,已有文献大多将MMC模块忽略,但实际上MMC模块的自身损耗会通过影响换流器直流侧有功输出而影响系统的动态特性。为此,将平均值模型变换到两相同步旋转坐标系,并用于换流器MMC模块的小信号建模。该模型计及了模块的自身损耗,能较好地反映换流器外特性对所连交、直流网络的动态响应;同时,考虑到公共点电压相角与所连交流网络等效阻抗的小扰动响应关系,对锁相环的小信号模型进行了改进。最后,建立整个直流输电网络的小信号模型,通过与PSCAD中电磁暂态模型进行仿真对比研究,验证了所构建小信号模型的准确性和模型改进的有效性。

     

    Abstract: So far most of the papers ignore the MMC module when building the small signal model of the transmission system, the loss of which actually has impact on the transient characteristics of the system through affecting the DC-side active power output of converters. First, the average value model was applied to the small signal model of MMC after being transformed into two-phase synchronous rotating coordinate system. This can well reflect transient response of MMC’s external characteristics to the connected DC and AC Networks as well as takes the loss of MMC into account. Second, considering the small disturbance response between the phase angle at common coupling point and the equivalent impedance of AC network, small signal model of phase-locked loop was improved. Final, the small signal model of the whole HVDC transmission network was built, and its accuracy and effectiveness was verified by the comparison with the simulation results of electromagnetic transient model in PSCAD.
