Abstract:
For new energy transmission lines without shunt reactors, whether the fault nature can be correctly distinguished is the top priority to ensure the safe and reliable operation of the new energy system. In order to reduce the impact of new energy transmission line faults on power equipment and systems, improve the success rate of reclosers, and reduce the problem of new energy power generation systems off the grid. A new fault identification method based on controllable series reactance and current information was proposed. When transmission line is fault, serial controllable current limiting reactor is designed, come controlled reactance to use when fault phase trip occurs. Based on the small current difference between instantaneous fault and permanent fault of the system in reactance series line, the comparison criterion of current mutation quantity was established to determine the time when the fault arc goes out, and a new fault property identification strategy for new energy station transmission line was constructed. The identification results are fast and reliable, and it can effectively improve the line coincidence rate in the new energy station transmission line project.
