Abstract:
For the dual-stator brushless doubly-fed generator(DS-BDFG),the inner and outer power windings and inner and outer control windings were connected in series with phase to ensure the electromagnetic consistency of inner and outer winding. Based on Lyapunov stability theorem and Popov hyperstability theorem,a novel speed sensorless back-stepping-based direct power control(BSDPC)strategy was designed by using back-stepping method and model reference adaptive system(MRAS),and the SVPMW technology was adopted to drive IGBTs of the control winding machine side converter(MSC)with a fixed switching frequency,so as to reduce the power fluctuation and the total harmonic distortion(THD)of power winding. Through the characteristic simulation research of the 12/8pole 50 kW prototype control system in the sub-synchronous to super-synchronous speed range, the results show that the proposed sensorless BS-DPC strategy for DS-BDFG can well realize variable speed constant frequency(VSCF),maximum power point tracking(MPPT),reactive power control(RPC)and unit power factor control(UPFC),the THD of power winding current is about 2%.
