Abstract:
In the field test of wave energy converters, the measurement of wave parameters is one of the important basis for evaluating the performance of wave energy converters. On the basis of analyzing and comparing the wave measurement methods of Directional Wave Rider and Langlong,a field test and comparison work of two devices are carried out,in the Dawanshan sea area. Using mathematical methods such as standard deviation and Pearson correlation coefficient, the test data are processed and analyzed, the wave rose diagram of significant wave height is drawn, and the measurement differences of wave parameters between the two devices are analyzed. The results show that, there is a little difference between Directional Ware Rider and Langlong in the measurement of significant wave height parameter and wave period parameter, but there is a significant difference in the measurement of wave direction. The research results provide a reference for the measurement of wave parameters in the field test of wave energy converters.
