Abstract:
In the distribution network, photovoltaic(PV)can participate in the voltage regulation through proper power curtailment. In this background,an evaluation model of the maximum PV access capacity in the distribution network is proposed considering multipoint access and the constraint of reasonable power curtailment. The conventional constraint after the distribution network being connected to PV that the operation state index does not exceed the limit or the probability of exceeding the limit does not exceed the limitis is replaced by the constraint that the consequences of exceeding the limits is within an acceptable value. For massive scenarios, the modeland the application scenarios are simplified according to the technical characteristics and the operation laws of the distribution network system. Finally, the problem is solved by genetic algorithm. The effectiveness of the evaluation model andalgorithm is verified on the IEEE 33-bus. Results show that 5% of PV power curtailment can increase PV access capacity about 40%. The improvement effect is significant.
