Abstract:
In order to improve the inertia and promote the restoration of the power grid,a virtual synchronous generator model predictive control(MPC-VSG)strategy based on the LCL grid-connected inverter is proposed. This method introduces the virtual synchronous generator(VSG)into the model predictive control(MPC)to control the reference value of the output current inner loop,so that the reference value of the inner loop current can change with the grid voltage and frequency. The simulation model is established with Matlab and compared with the MPC control method. The simulation results show that as the inverter output power changes,the VSG model predictive control can increase the inertia and stability of the power grid,improve system transient process.
