Abstract:
The return power control of dual active bridge(Dual Active Bridge,DAB)DC converters has attracted much attention.Suppressing the return power can improve the conversion efficiency of DAB. Considering the application scenarios of DAB DC converters in energy storage,a two-port DAB equivalent mathematical model is established. The function relationship between the return power,the transmitted power and the phase shift angle is derived under different phase shift conditions. According to the fitness function and the penalty function,a dual-phase-shift control with Whale Optimization Algorithm(WOA)is proposed to suppress the return power. This strategy can achieve the full-shift comparison range The minimum return power shift ratio combination in the case of constant transmission power. The working principle of DPS-WOA is to solve the minimum value of the DAB return power model under the DPS(Dual-Phase-Shift)control method through the Whale Optimization Algorithm(WOA). Compared with the existing SPS(Single-PhaseShift),DPS,and TPS(Triple-Phase-Shift)traditional optimization control schemes,it is verified better return power optimization capability and full shift range optimization capability of the control strategy.
