Abstract:
The mixing characteristics of cow manure anaerobic digested broth with non-Newtonian property were studied.And the standard k-ε model was used to simulate the hydrodynamic behavior of anaerobic fermentation digested fermenter,the Power-law model was used to represent the rheological property of fermentation broth.The velocity field,shear rate distribution,shear stress distribution and viscosity distribution of the fermenter were investigated by numerical analysis.The results show that the speed around the agitator blades is larger than other regions.As the fermentation progresses,the non-Newtonian properties of the fermentation broth gradually decrease,the viscosity distribution tends to be uniform,and the shear rate does not change much,while the shear stress distribution tends to non-uniform.
