Abstract:
In this paper,the output characteristics of four kinds of solar cell arrays,including Series-Parallel(SP) configuration,Total Cross Tied(TCT),Bridge Linked(BL) and honeycomb(HC) configuration,under the same area and different shape types of partial shading are compared.The results show that the effects of different shape types of partial shading(light transmission factor and area are the same) on the output characteristics of the four kinds solar cell arrays are different,the TCT structure is least affected by discrete local shadows,and the other three structures are least affected by vertical regular shadows.Especially,the BL and HC structures have a good balance between power output and cost.
