Abstract:
Against the backdrop of achieving emission peak and carbon neutrality goals,China’s power supply structure will shift from fossil fuels as the main energy source to new energy sources as the support. PV power stations play an important role in this transformation and will become the main force in building a new type of power system in China. In recent years, the construction of PV power stations in China has developed rapidly. According to data from the National Energy Administration, the newly installed capacity of PV power generation exceeded 100 million kW in the first three quarters of 2023. While investing in the construction of PV power stations with such high efficiency, there is also a problem of the failure to achieve high-quality synchronous improvement in the operation and maintenance management mode and technical level of such power stations. This paper provides a detailed statistical analysis of the key issues in the technical management, energy conservation, and PV power generation units of 46 PV power stations in 16 regions of China during the 2021 technical supervision process,in order to reflect the current operation and maintenance status of PV power stations; And in response to these issues, relevant suggestions are provided from the perspectives of national, industry standards, and new technologies. The following conclusions have been drawn:1) In terms of technical management of PV power stations, the lack of regular drone inspections is a representative issue;2) In terms of energy conservation, the failure of PV power stations to regularly carry out power attenuation testing of PV modules, inverter conversion efficiency testing, and PV power station system efficiency calculation is a relatively common problem;3) In terms of PV power generation units in PV power stations, issues such as obstruction, dirt, dust, damage, and aging are common and important aspects that can best reflect the management level of PV power stations, and should be given attention by PV power stations.
