Abstract:
This paper introduces the main busbar-free technology and its development trends, and provides a detailed introduction to the process flow of the main busbar-free film coating technology and the main busbar-free welding adhesive technology applied to IBC solar cells. The focus is on the matching problem of the film coating process applied to the packaging materials of the main busbar-free IBC PV modules. The current matching scheme for the raw materials of the main busbar-free technology and the improvement method for the packaging process are proposed, and the EL images of the main busbar-free IBC PV modules using conventional and improved processes are compared and analyzed after the same TC aging test. The research results show that the improved process optimizes the material matching of the conventional film coating process, and improves the problem of poor contact between copper wire and solar cell secondary busbar when applying the double-layer composite film process. Meanwhile, the use of a single-layer composite film process avoids the problems of bending and poor welding of IBC solar cell caused by hot pressing. The research results can provide guidance for the development of packaging technology for main busbar-free IBC PV modules.
