Abstract:
In order to alleviate the influence of atmospheric attenuation on the power generation capacity of tower CSP station in areas with high concentration of atmospheric particulate matter, this paper uses Ecotech Aurora 3000 turbidity meter to conduct atmospheric attenuation rate measurement test in Dubai 100 MW tower CSP station, and carries out a series of data processing and statistical analysis on the measurement results. The test results show that the higher the average ambient temperature, the more severe the atmospheric attenuation. The daily average, monthly average, and average values of atmospheric attenuation rate obtained from the test,as well as the corresponding trend of change, can provide reference for tower CSP station. In months with high atmospheric attenuation rates, appropriate compensation for solar radiation loss can be considered in advance to ensure the output power requirements of thermal power generation sets.
