Abstract:
Urban renewal is an important tool for promoting sustainable development of cities. Urban parks,as the basic components of cities, are of great significant in the green transformation of building low-carbon cities through low-carbon transformation of renewal(hereinafter referred to as "low-carbon renewal"). This paper takes existing urban parks as the research object and proposes a multi-dimensional and multi-level low-carbon renewal technology system for existing urban parks from the perspective of carbon reduction and carbon sink. It integrates low-carbon buildings,low-carbon facilities, and ecosystem carbon sink. Taking a national wetland park in Zhongshan City,Guangdong Province as an example, this technology system is verified. The research results show that the technology system can flexibly adapt to the needs of existing urban park renewal and the multi-dimensional low-carbon technology system. At the same time, the energy consumption and ecosystem carbon sink of the park’s carbon emissions can be monitored through the carbon emission intelligent monitoring and management platform. By quantitatively analyzing the carbon emissions and carbon sinks of the park, the refined management of the entire park’s carbon emissions can be achieved. This technology system can promote the implementation of low-carbon concepts in existing urban park renewal practices, and provide reference for the organization, management, and implementation of low-carbon renovation projects in urban renewal.
