Abstract:
Under the goals of emission peak and carbon neutrality,it is necessary to find a widely applicable zero carbon emission terminal energy. Hydrogen energy is not only a carbon free energy,but also the most environmentally friendly energy. The use of water electrolysis to produce hydrogen technology,especially through wind power and PV power generation technology,can achieve zero carbon emissions. This paper introduces the current situation of renewable energy water electrolysis to produce hydrogen,and conducts research on various wind-PV coupled water electrolysis to produce hydrogen. It also looks forward to the development prospects of renewable energy water electrolysis to produce hydrogen. The research results show that using large-scale coupled water electrolysis to produce hydrogen,mainly wind power and PV power generation,can effectively reduce oil and gas imports and fossil energy applications,greatly ensuring China’s energy security. In the hope that this study results can provide reference for the rational construction of hydrogen production systems.
