Application examples of research on tectonic uplift by using fission-track dating

A method for determining time,lift altitude and rising velocity of tectonic uplift by using the fission track dating profile has being introduced.This method has been used for researching the tectonic uplifts of the Binhai Arch located in margin of Jiangsu Province and Yiyang Basin of Jiangxi Province.For Binhai Arch,the uplift time ranges from 38 to 15 million years corresponding to Sanduo event and Yancheng event,and the rise altitude is over 3100 meters,and the rising velocity is from 20 to 50 meters per million years.For the Yiyang Basin,the uplift time is from 20 to 14 million years,and the rise altitude is 2600 meters. Above conclusion has been proved by seismic and geochemical information.
