横向主动控斜力作用下底部钻具组合动力学特征

Analysis of dynamic characteristics of bottom hole assembly under transverse active deviation control force

  • 摘要: 垂直钻井工具通过对井壁施加横向主动控斜力实现高效控斜快速钻井,但也使底部钻具组合的动力学特性更加复杂,甚至引起井下复杂振动和钻具失效,因而掌握带垂直钻井工具钻柱的动力学特性十分必要。以Power-V工具为例,首先建立了横向主动控斜力模型,随后基于Hamilton原理,建立了钻柱动力学模型,并利用节点迭代法和Newmark-β方法对存在横向主动控斜力的钻柱动力学特性进行了求解。在验证模型正确性的基础上,以现场实际超深井为例,分析了钻柱形心的涡动轨迹、涡动速度特征。研究结果表明,Power-V的加入,使得靠近垂直钻井工具的钻铤做偏向井眼低边一侧的向前涡动,而且钻铤形心的涡动轨迹呈现椭圆形特征,同时,使钻柱受到较大的井壁反作用力的同时,会使钻柱在钻头、稳定器处也承受较大的横向作用力,进而改变钻柱的运动特征。地面扭矩和井下转速波动较大,底部钻柱的横向振动较剧烈,与井下实测和地面观察结果吻合。实际应用时,应该尽可能采取措施,减少这种振动,提高钻井作业效率。

     

    Abstract: The vertical drilling tool can achieve efficient vertical and fast drilling by applying transverse active deviation control force to the borehole wall, but it also makes the dynamic characteristics of BHA more complicated, and even causes complex downhole vibration and drilling tool failure. Therefore, it is necessary to study the dynamic characteristics of drilling string by vertical drilling tool. Taking Power-V tool for example, a model of transverse active deviation control force was established initially, and then a dynamic model of drill string was established based on Hamilton’s principle. Later, the dynamic characteristics of drill string with transverse active deviation control force were solved by node iteration method and Newmark-β method. Based on verifying the accuracy of the models, taking a well for example, the whirl trajectory and whirl speed features of drill string were analyzed. The results show that with the addition of Power-V, the drill collar near the vertical drilling tool is inclined to whirl forward on the low side of the hole, and the whirl trajectory of the drill collar center presents an elliptical shape. Meanwhile, the drill string is subject to a great side force, and there is a strong transverse force exerted on bit and stabilizers installation, thus changing the motion characteristics of drill string. The surface torque and downhole speed fluctuate greatly, and the drill string is subject to severe transverse vibration, which is consistent with the downhole measured results and the ground observation results. In practice, measures should be taken to reduce above vibration and improve the efficiency of drilling operations.
