Abstract:
To further reveal the enrichment characteristics and law of shale oil in Lucaogou Formation of Jimusaer sag in Junggar Basin,enrich and develop the theories of continental shale oil accumulation,and better guide the subsequent exploration and development of shale oil,the enrichment laws and controlling factors of shale oil in Lucaogou Formation were comprehensively determined based on the analyses and tests by use of core,rock thin section,well logging,mud logging,formation testing data and X-Ray diffraction whole-rock mineral composition,rock pyrolysis,staged pyrolysis,and nuclear magnetic resonance.In the study area,lacustrine mixed sediments are developed in Lucaogou Formation,and the lithology is dominated by dolomitic/calcareous mudstone,tuffaceous mudstone,silty mudstone,carbonate rock and siltstone.Self-generating and self-preserving retained shale oil is accumulated in mudstone,and the enrichment of shale oil in mudstone is mainly controlled by good hydrocarbon generation potential and suitable thermal maturity;the shale oil of near-source migration and accumulation type is developed in carbonate rock and siltstone,which are characterized with better oiliness and higher free oil content,and the high-quality pore-fracture system and reservoir property control the enrichment and accumulation of shale oil in carbonate rock and siltstone.Vertically,mudstone,carbonate rock and siltstone constitute two-phase mixture (phase-source mixture) type,source-area mixture (origin-source mixture) type and mutation mixture (discontinuous mixture) type sediments.Among them,two-phase mixture type and source-area mixture type sediments have high-quality source-reservoir combination,which is conducive to the development of the lacustrine hybrid sedimentary rock type shale oil characterized with source and reservoir combination and high productivity.In the subsequent exploration and development of continental shale oil,it is required to not only consider the factors such as traditional rock hydrocarbon generation potential and reservoir property,but also comprehensively analyze those such as mixed sediment type,lithologic combination and crude oil fluidity,thus choosing the appropriate way to mine shale oil.
