Abstract:
Through introduction of technologies combined with independent research and development, a set of large-scale integrated devices is constructed for purification and enrichment as well as for total components abundance and isotope analyses of noble gases (He, Ne, Ar, Kr, and Xe) in different types of geological oil-gas samples (natural gas, source rock, reservoir inclusion, crude oil, and formation water). A series of noble gas sampling techniques are developed, and a complete procedure for total components abundance and isotope analyses of He, Ne, Ar, Kr, and Xe is established. These techniques are then applied for total components abundance and isotope analyses of the five noble gases in representative natural gas samples collected from large gas fields in Songliao and Tarim Basin. The general distribution pattern of total components abundance of He, Ne, Ar, Kr, and Xe in natural gas from Changshen, Xushen, and Kela2 Gas Field are clarified, and multi-origin identification maps of these noble gases are constructed. Effective supports of experimental techniques are provided for comprehensive origin identification of noble gases in natural gas from Changshen, Xushen, and Kela2 Gas Field.
