Abstract:
The peripheral reservoirs in Daqing Oilfield are hard to be effectively developed, because of ultra-low permeability and ultra-low abundance. The seismic, geologic and logging data were used to set up a series of techniques including the space variant wavelet seismic inversion, independent variable analysis and fictitious well prediction techniques. The prediction accuracy in identification of thin and narrow sand bodies was more than 85 percent. The calculation model for different patterns in non-Darcy flow condition was established. A design method for pattern optimization of fractured reservoir was presented. Horizontal well production technology for the super-thin reservoirs, and the steam huff and puff and microbial flooding technique for ultra-low permeable reservoirs were applied in the peripheral reservoirs of Daqing Oilfield. The annual oil production of peripheral reservoirs in Daqing Oilfield was over five million tones in 2005.
