Abstract:
Lukeqin heavy oil reservoir, located in the central part of Turpan Depression, is an unique heavy oil pool discovered in the Triassic strata up to now, and it is also a bigger petroleum accumulation area in scale in the Turpan-Hami Basin. This reservoir has complex and special oil-gas migration and accumulation regulation. The Late Indosinian movement resulted in the different ancient topography in the Late Triassic, Jurassic, Cretaceous and Teriary periods. The complex variations of the structure and some conditions for petroleum accumulation resulted in the unusual characteristics of petroleum migration and accumulation in Lukeqin heavy oil accumulation area. This area is high in east and low in west, which resulted in the main migration direction of heavy oil from east to west in the uplift area before. Both the two plates of thrust are the thick sandstone with high permeability, and these thrust block traps can accumulated heavy oil.The relationship between oil-saturation and porosity in different part of reservoir is different. The petrolic infusion position is in the mid-east part of the slanting-zone around the Well YD1 instead of in the lowest part of current structural zone.
