Study on AC Arc Simulation at Different Electrode Distances

  • 摘要: 交流故障电弧严重威胁着用电设备的安全稳定运行,极易引发火灾。为研究不同间隙距离对交流故障电弧各个物理场的影响,在对交流故障电弧能量转换过程分析的基础上,建立了磁流体动力学模型。应用COMSOL Multiphysics软件,建立二维轴对称模型,对复杂的交流电弧进行仿真,分析了电极距离为2 mm时的终端电流、电压以及温度场和磁场的变化和联系,研究了不同电极距离对交流电弧终端电压电流的分布及电弧温度分布的影响,为交流故障电弧熄灭装置的设计提供了重要参考。

     

    Abstract: AC fault arc is a serious threat to the safe and stable operation of electrical equipment,and can easily cause fire. In order to study the influence of different clearance distances on the various physical fields of AC fault arc,a magnetohydrodynamic model is established based on an analysis of energy conversion process of AC fault arc.And a two-dimensional axisymmetric model is established with COMSOL Multiphysics software,to simulate the complex AC arc.The changes and relations of terminal current,voltage,temperature field and magnetic field when the electrode distance is 2 mm are analyzed,and the influence of different electrode distances on the distribution of voltage and current and arc temperature at AC arc terminal is studied,which provides an important reference for the design of AC fault arc extinguishing device.
