Study on Characteristics of Strong Wind in Chongqing Yongchuan during the Flood Season

  • 摘要: 利用常规气象观测资料,针对2006—2017年汛期(5—9月)重庆永川出现的大风过程,分析其时空分布特征、天气环流背景及物理指数,主要结论:(1)永川中部及偏北一带为大风易发区,出现64次大风过程,8月最多,午后、傍晚和凌晨为大风多发时段,大风出现后持续时间多为1~2 h。(2)大风的出现主要与东移的低槽、西太平洋副热带高压、台风外围气流及地面冷高压南下等影响有关,主要环流类型可分为:低槽(涡)型、低槽(涡)与高压系统型、台风影响型。(3)大风发生前后,低槽(涡)型平均温度、最高温度存在明显降幅,大多在6℃以上。低槽(涡)与高压系统型平均温度弱降温与明显降温概率相当,最高温度降幅在4℃以上。台风影响型温度变化与其出现的月份、北方冷空气的情况有关。(4)各类型大风发生时,大多伴有短时强降水,且大风过程当日累积雨量大多在大雨及其以上。(5)从物理指数来看,大风发生前抬升指数(LI指数)、大气稳定度指数(K指数)、对流有效位能(CAPE指数)、大风指数在各类型大风中各有表现,实际预报工作中需根据不同类型的阈值进行分析。

     

    Abstract: Based on the conventional meteorological observation data,aiming at the strong wind process in Yongchuan area of Chongqing during the flood season( from May to September)in 2006-2017,this paper analyzes its temporal and spatial distribution characteristics,synoptic circulation background and the physical index. The main results are as following:(1)Strong wind process is easy to happen in the middle and north of Yongchuan,with 64 times occur in all regions totally,the most in August.Afternoon,toward evening and early morning are the high frequency periods of strong wind,the duration of strong wind is usually 1-2 h.(2)The strong wind is mainly influenced by the trough moving eastward,subtropical high in the western pacific,airflow of typhoon periphery,surface cold high pressure moving southward,the main circulation types can be divided into:the trough(vortex)type,the trough(vortex)and high pressure system type,typhoon influence type.(3)In trough(vortex) type,the average temperature most drops more than 6 ℃,it drops little or more than 4 ℃ in trough(vortex) and high pressure system type,moreover,typhoon affected temperature changes are related to the month of occurrence and the cold air from the north.(4)In all types,when strong wind happens,short-duration strong rainfall more occurs and accumulated rainfall is mainly above 25 mm.(5)From the physical index,the LI,K,CAPE,Wind-index behave differently in each type,and the actual forecasting work needs to be analyzed according to different types of thresholds.
