一次中尺度温度和湿度锋区对冰雹回波系统的影响

Influence of a Mesoscale Temperature and Humidity Front on Hail Echo System

  • 摘要: 为了更好地监测预警冰雹和雷暴大风等强天气,使用常规天气图、自动气象站、雷达拼图等资料,采用天气学和雷达气象学等原理,对2021年5月10日江西大范围雷暴回波群中樟树、丰城冰雹天气过程进行分析,结果表明:雷暴回波群中超级单体产生大冰雹并伴随雷暴大风天气,没有出现短时强降水;湿度锋区达到≥40%/100 km和温度锋区达到≥10℃/100 km时,能够触发产生对流回波;当对流回波系统移到温度和湿度锋区附近时,会快速发展加强,超级单体组合反射率强度可达65~70 dBZ,60 dBZ回波面积迅速扩大。风暴跟踪信息能较好地指示超级单体回波的移动方向和移动速度;多条风暴跟踪信息指向一致时可信度更高。这些研究成果为江西雷暴回波群形势下冰雹天气的预报预警提供了依据。

     

    Abstract: In order to better monitor and warn against severe weather such as hail and thunderstorm winds,using conventional weather maps,automatic weather stations,and radar mosaics,the weather process of the large-scale thunderstorm echoes in Zhangshu and Fengcheng in Jiangxi on May10,2021 was analyzed by using principles of meteorology and radar meteorology.The results show that in the thunderstorm echo cluster,super cells produce large hailstones accompanied by thunderstorm gale,and there is no short-term heavy rainfall.When the humidity crest reaches ≥40%/100 km and the temperature front reaches ≥10 ℃/100 km,it can trigger the formation of convective echoes.When the convective echo system moves near the temperature and humidity front,it will quickly develop and intensify,the combination reflectivity intensity of the super cell can reach 65 to 70 dBZ,and the 60dBZ echo area will rapidly expand.The storm tracking information could indicate the movement direction and speed of the super cell echoes well.When multiple storm tracking informations point to the same direction,the credibility is higher.These research results provide a basis for forecasting and warning of hail weather in the situation of Jiangxi thunderstorm echo cluster.
