Abstract: Based on the daily average temperature,average wind speed,the average relative humidity of the ground meteorological observation data in Ili River Valley station from 1961 to 2018,through fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method and geographic information system technology,summer is divided into 18 pentad,and the spatial distribution characteristics of tourism climate comfort index are analyzed based on the change characteristics of tourism climate comfort index in each pentad.The results show that:Most of the Ili River Valley is suitable for tourism in most of summer.The whole summer is suitable for tourism for the western counties and cities,eastern Gongliu County from June 6to August 25,Xinyuan County from June 16 to August 31,and Nilak County from July 6 to August 15.In the south,Tekes County is suitable for tourism from July 21 to 31 and from August 6 to 10,while Zhaosu County is not comfortable due to the low temperature.The period of July 21 to August 10 is the most suitable for tourism in Ili.The areas with higher comfort level are mainly in the western and eastern plains of the valley.In the whole summer,the regions with the best moderate tourism climate in Ili River Valley are located in the north of Qapqal County,the south of Khorgas City,the south of Huocheng County,Yining City,the southwest of Yining County,and the northwest of Gongliu County.The comfort degree of tourism climate decreases gradually from the plain area to the high altitude area.
