Abstract:
With the rapid development of wind power industry in China,icing has become one of the serious threats to the safe and stable operation of wind farms.Aiming at this problem,domestic and foreign scholars had carried out relevant researches successively.Based on the existing research results,the general situation of icing,classification of research methods,factors affecting icing and characteristics of fan blade icing and icing period were summarized.A large number of research results showed that the meteorological factors affecting fan blade icing were mainly environmental temperature,relative humidity,wind speed,liquid water content(LWC) and median volume diameter(MVD),etc.In addition,there had been a lot of achievements in ice wind tunnel test and numerical simulation,but the study of icing model method was still less,which needed further exploration.The focus of subsequent research was to carry out the correction research of high-resolution numerical prediction products,and to build a local fan blade icing model.It provided a scientific reference for wind power plants to forewarn the glaciation period in advance so as to take thaw measures and arrange production reasonably.
