Abstract:
From the necessity of in-situ corrosion detection of metal components,in-situ corrosion detection sensors for metal components under different service environments were reviewed. And the characteristics of different sensor types were discussed. Moreover, the problems in the application of existing sensors were analyzed, and the development direction of corrosion detection sensors for metal components in the future was predicted.Analysis results show that the problem of in-situ atmospheric corrosion detection sensor is the difficulty of cell formation.Through reduction of electrode spacing or adding hydrophilic medium between the electrodes can provide a solution to the problem. The problem of in-situ soil corrosion detection sensor and water corrosion detection sensor is to determine the working electrode area, which can be improved by construction of current limit sensors. However, several challenges in terms of sensor service life and environmental adaptability are faced in practical applications. In recent years, with the rapid development of on-line monitoring technology, fusion sensors are expected to become a new breakthrough for in-situ monitoring of metal corrosion.
