Abstract:
Silicone rubber, widely recognized for its excellent processability and contamination resistance, is extensively utilized in high-voltage transmission and external electrical insulation.Despite its broad applications, silicone rubber′s insulation and dielectric properties still require further enhancements. With the rapid development of electronic components, integrated circuits, power transmission systems and other practical applications, the insulation properties and dielectric properties of silicone rubber materials commonly used in equipment insulation protection are also put forward higher requirements.By incorporating fillers into silicone rubber, both the relative dielectric constant and breakdown field strength can be significantly improved.Common fillers include high relative dielectric constant fillers, wide bandgap fillers, carbon-based fillers, metallic fillers, and hybrid fillers. This paper summarizes the existing research to enhance silicone rubber composites′ dielectric and insulation performance and offers insights into prospects in this field.
