Abstract: In 2020,State Grid Infrastructure Department issued a series of technical standards for power grid projects in design and construction stage. In order to discuss the influence of new code on the tower,the main design specifications such as electrical and load were analyzed,the main points of revision were expounded. Mathematical statistical analysis method was used for the general design of original tower,and influence of new specifications on tower was concluded. The results show that revision of the relevant specifications of transmission lines has a great impact on the low-voltage line towers,whether in terms of electrical clearance or tower bearing capacity,the original general design of towers can no longer meet the requirements of the current specifications,which should be paid great attention to infrastructure projects in the future.
