Abstract:
The present distribution network architecture is facing new challenge with the development of novel power systems.Firstly, the concept and characteristics of active distribution network is presented. Then, the distinct integration features of key technologies including virtual power plant, virtual power system and microgrid are deeply analyzed, as well as the architecture and operation modes of typical demonstration projects.Secondly, the suitable scenarios for different distribution network connection technologies are put forward with the comparision of the strengths and weaknesses of power electronic connection technologies in asynchronous power network interconnection and power flow control. Finally, based on the analysis of new distribution network technologies, a plausible architecture for the active distribution network is proposed.
