Analysis on the Present Situation and Research of Uninterruptible PowerMeter Replacement Technology

  • Non-blackout meter changing device ensure a continuous power supply during meter replacement, allowing users to change meters without any perception of disruption and improving the service level of power supply enterprises. Their working principle involves establishing a short-circuit bypass for the metering circuit of the electricity meter. Currently, there are mainly two types of devices: puncture type and electric meter connector plug type. Although both types of devices can achieve the function of non-power-cut meter replacement, they still have deficiencies in safe power extraction, energy metering, cost control, applicability, and popularization period. This paper proposes a novel non-blackout meter changing device that innovatively draws power from the fixing screw under the air circuit breaker. It takes into account multiple aspects such as cost, safety, efficiency, applicability, and energy metering, effectively addressing the shortcomings of current non-stop power meter replacement devices on the market.
