Abstract:
In response to the demand for high gain and high-performance DC boost converters in solar photovoltaic power generation systems, this article proposes a new type of non isolated high gain DC boost converter. The working principle of the converter was analyzed, and the performance indicators such as voltage gain, voltage stress of switching tubes/diodes, and current stress of inductors were derived. By comparing the performance with existing converters of the same type, it was confirmed that the converter has the advantages of high voltage gain and low voltage stress of switching tubes/diodes. The correctness of the theoretical analysis of the converter and the effectiveness of its advantages were confirmed through simulation using PSIM software.
