Analysis and Handling of Abnormal Grounding Circulating Current Fault in the Outer Sheath of a 220 kV Cable

  • 摘要: 近年来,高压单芯电缆外护套故障频发,严重影响电力系统的安全稳定运行。通过对一起220 kV电力电缆外护套接地环流异常故障进行分析,阐述了外护套破损后电缆金属护套接地环流的变化趋势,及其对电缆本体绝缘性能的影响,并给出了外护套故障查找方法、修复方案和运维建议,为后续高压单芯电缆的运维检修提供了参考。

     

    Abstract: In recent years,faults of the outer sheath of high-voltage single core cables have occurred frequently,which seriously affecting the safe and stable operation of the power system.This paper analyzes an abnormal grounding current fault of the outer sheath of a 220 kV power cable,analyzes the trend of changes in the grounding current of the metal sheath of the cable after the outer sheath is damaged,and its impact on the insulation performance of the cable body. The paper also provides methods for finding the outer sheath fault,repair solutions,and subsequent operation and maintenance suggestions,which provides reference for the subsequent operation and maintenance of high-voltage single core cables.
