Abstract:
The performance decline of retired lithium batteries leads to increased safety risks. In recent years, the safety problem of cascade utilization of retired lithium batteries has gradually become a key problem restricting their large-scale industrialization. In order to promote the research progress of battery electrothermal management technology, aiming at the retired lithium battery cascade utilization of security problems, we firstly analyze the current situation of risk assessment technology of retired lithium batteries, and the technical difficulties of the two aspects which are electrical and thermal risk assessmen. Then, we analyze the current status and development trend of electric management technology, and summarize the retired batteries thermal management technology of modeling and control methods. Finally, based on the analysis above, the development and trend of retired lithium batteries cascade utilization in the future are summarized and prospected.
