Abstract:
Distributed consensus-based control is an important technical method to improve the flexibility and reliability of distributed generation system's operation; however, the control highly depends on the fast and reliable communication between distributed generators. In the practical system, the communication time delay is inevitable and will significantly affect the control performance and the stability of the system. Therefore, a highly reliable cooperative control strategy of distributed generation system considering communication time delays is proposed in this paper. Firstly, the influence of communication time delays on the conventional distributed control system is analyzed. Secondly, by introducing the Artstein transform, the stability problem of system with delay is transformed into the controller optimization design problem of system without delay. Moreover, in accordance with the problem that time delay will seriously affect the response performance of the system, a finite-time control strategy is designed, improving the convergence speed and the adaptability of the system under the frequent switching of equipment. The more reliable control performance of the control strategy under communication delay is verified by the results of various conditions.
