Abstract:
Based on Euler-Lagrangian model, researches were conducted on the influence of plastic melting on the heat transfer process of three types of typical components of municipal solid waste, including biomass, fabrics, and paper. Results show that, the heating rate of plastic before melting is lower than that of the other three types, and there is an increase in the heating rate of plastic after melting. With the increase of the plastic content, the effective heat transfer coefficient of plastic before melting decreases, while that of plastic after melting increases. For the smaller size of material particle, the heat transfer effect can be improved by a higher effective heat transfer coefficient.
