Research on application of CAFS automatic control system for converter transformer in ±800kV UHV converter station

The compressed air foam system (CAFS) has been approved effective in UHV converter transformer fire extinguishing system， and promotion applied in National Grid UHV converter station。This article studies a typical±800kV UHV converter station project， and proposes an integrated solution for CAFS， including configuration， work flow and external interface。 Such solution can be a reference for design and application of subsequent UHV converter station CAFS automatic control system。
