Research on Revit Family File Standard and Management Method

In the application of BIM technology in power civil engineering, there are many problems, such as many types of equipment and com-ponents, and complex parameterization. Through the research on the design technology of BIM in power civil engineering, the standard of making Revit family documents is formulated to provide reference for the standardization and parameterization of family documents; the management method of Revit family documents is studied, the production process and management standard of family documents are put forward, which provides the basis for the research and development of family document manager, provides technical support for the technical standardization of BIM in power civil engineering, and improves the design of BIM in power civil engineering. The quality of the results reduces the time and cost of the design.
