Design of a battery discharge monitoring communication device
Batteries are an important part of the DC systems in the substation
and regular discharge testing is essential to ensure their reliable operation and to maintain substation safety.To address issues such as complex wiring
high workload
and the potential for operational errors during discharge testing
this paper presents the design of a battery discharge monitoring communication device.The device enables communication between the battery inspection instrument and the charge discharge instrument.It uses the STM32F103C8T6 microcontroller as the core controller
incorporates a touchscreen for human machine interaction
and adopts the FreeRTOS operating system for task scheduling.Test results demonstrate that the proposed communication device successfully facilitates stable communication between the inspection and charge discharge instruments.It improves wiring efficiency by approximately 90 times
eliminates common disadvantages encountered during battery discharge testing in substations
and significantly enhances both the operational efficiency and safety of maintenance personnel.
